FedEx Enhances Domestic Time-definite Service in China
Enhanced Services to Deliver More Promises
SHANGHAI, Sept. 3, 2007—FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, today announced a string of service enhancements to its newly launched domestic time-definite services in China. FedEx has expanded its service offerings to meet the growing needs of the customers.
Starting today, Saturday will be a normal business day with full pick-up and delivery services for all FedEx domestic service offerings. Additionally, FedEx will now offer proof of delivery, an increased maximum for the declared value of each shipment, and a money-back guarantee expanded to all FedEx domestic service offerings, including 48-hour day-definite service.

FedEx began domestic time-definite service in China on May 28 of this year. The next-business-day time-definite service benefits customers in more than 30 cities, while the 48-hour day-definite service reaches more than 200 cities and counties across China.
To keep pace with China’s rapidly changing market, FedEx has comprehensively upgraded domestic services in China. These enhancements enable customers to continue to benefit from the outstanding service at FedEx. Now the customers can call the FedEx domestic customer service hotline on Saturdays to ship domestic packages and enjoy the same level of reliable and fast domestic delivery service that they receive Monday to Friday.
Customers can also contact the domestic customer service center for Proof of Delivery by fax, or select the service option of “Return Proof of Delivery” to receive the consignee-signed FedEx Consignment Notes or their own documents. Now, the maximum declared value for a single domestic shipment is RMB250,000, up from RMB100,000, giving our customers greater confidence when shipping valuable goods.
Moreover, the money-back guarantee will be extended to cover 48-hour day-definite service. Previously, the money-back guarantee was only offered for 24-hour time-definite and 24-hour day-definite services. Having all FedEx domestic services delivered with a money-back guarantee demonstrates the company’s confidence in delivering the packages on time and safely.
